Can I contact a business online instead of going on site?

You can reach out online to set up a visit, but a submission has to be done on site — the required photos and the owner interview are taken in person.

Tendso is built for on-site field work. You're welcome to message or call a business first to introduce yourself and set up a visit — but to actually submit one, you'll need to go on site.

Why an in-person visit is needed

  • The website is built from real photos you take on location — a portrait of the owner, a shot of the place, and a working or product shot.
  • You record the interview with the owner in person (video is preferred, since it also works as a social/TikTok asset).
  • Being there is what makes the final website authentic and high-quality.
Reaching out online first is a great way to schedule the visit — but the photos and interview that make up a submission have to be done in person.
